Moons and Blueberries

Moons and Blueberries

The series keeps evolving.

What began as watercolor paintings of muscadines 3 years ago has now evolved to become a grid of circles, deep pastel pigments, blurred pastel edges with a sharp graphite circle. And now moons. I used NASA photos of real moons from our solar system as the models. The craters, and the colors, do remind me of the blueberries.
