Spectra of the Elements in Soft Pastel

This is the light pattern displaying the element of Helium, discovered initially during studies of the stars with a spectrograph. The black bars yield a pattern of blocked light which allows us to determine the elements present in a distant star atmosphere. I hope to create art for numerous elements in this new series.
